Daniel "Danny" A. Bates

Daniel A. Bates, 34, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning June 7, 2018 in Youngstown, OH.

He was born on February 20, 1984 in Greenville, PA a son of Donald Bates Sr. and Kathryn (Edwards) Bates.

Danny had worked as a heavy equipment operator for several companies and had currently been worker for Roto Rooter. He was extremely skilled when it came to working with his hands on anything and was known for having a knack for fixing everything mechanical.  Danny enjoyed riding dirt bikes as well as motorcycles and loved being around children whom he adored.  He was a member of Victory Christian Center in Boardman and had a contagious smile that would light up any room that he entered. 

Danny leaves behind his wife, the former Lisa A. Berick, whom he married February 25, 2005, his parents Donald and Kathryn, his son Leo J. Bates, sister Rebecca Palazzo, brother Devin Bates, paternal grandmother Bernice Bates, maternal grandmother Darla Clark, step-sons Zachary Kountz, Christian Kountz, Seth Byers, step-grandson Uraih Kountz, and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Phillip Bates and John Edwards, and by his brother Donald “DJ” Bates.
