BURGHILL-Lisa M. Long, of Burghill formerly of Vienna, passed away on Friday afternoon January 25, 2019 while a patient in the Cleveland Clinic. She was fifty-one.
She was born on January 24, 1968 in Warren, Ohio and the fourth child of Donald P. and JoAnne M. (Cavalier) Bukofchan. Lisa was an alumna of Mathews High School, attended Youngstown State University, and graduated from the Trumbull Memorial School of Radiologic Technology. She began her career at Trumbull Memorial Hospital where she has worked for the past twenty-five years. She was the lead x-ray technologist in her department.
Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and above all a selfless friend to countless people. She courageously went through life with an optimistic “a cup half full” outlook. Her family and friends always came first no matter what. She would help anyone at the drop of a hat.
She leaves behind her husband Gary L. Long whom she married on March 28, 1998; their children Alexis K. Long of Columbus, OH and Steven J. Long at home; her mother JoAnne Bukofchan of Vienna; her siblings Kim Achey (Clay) of Hunstville, AL, Dr. Dan Bukofchan (Dora) of Brookville, IN, Don Bukofchan (Bridgette) of Niles, and Lynn Pegg (Jim) of Vienna; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles and Kathleen Long of Vienna; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.

The Very Rev. Frank Zanni V.F. will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial for Lisa on Thursday morning beginning at 10:00 AM in the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Vienna, Ohio. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Hermitage, PA.
